The board of Directors of Camp Wegesegum understand that staff, to be paid or volunteer, are our greatest strength. Within a Christian Camping context, leaders must meet high standards of honesty, integrity, and fairness while approaching their work in a spirit of openess and respect for the dignity of all. Paid staff/volunteers are 16 years of age or older and have submitted to a criminal records check.

Counsellors-in-training are 14 years of age with previous camping experience, youth group involvement or experience in a leadership role. All staff are required to attend a pre-camp training weekend provided by the Board of Directors.
